Diving was very slow with Barry and Ash heading out to Direction Bank and not having much luck. It was even hard work to get the burley with barry diving down to 34m to shoot a silver drummer just for burley. However there were a few wahoo that did appear out at the bank and Barry and Vin both managed to land one! Ash also had an opportunity to land a good sized one well over 20kg's but in his own words he "lost a good one after completely butchering a perfect opportunity, still devastated!"
At the comp there were only 2 spanish mackeral weighed in. Which was unexpected after the amounts of fish that have been around in the last couple of months.
The final results were:
1st: Lee Paxman & Jordan Macneill (Only pair to weigh more than 1 fish with a shark mackerel, samson fish, thicklip trevally and skippy)
2nd: Barry Paxman & Ashley Walsh (Wahoo)
3rd: Vin Rushworth and Spencer Loxton (Wahoo)
